Closed Cup Flash Point Tester

Flash point is generally measured by open cup tester and closed cup tester. Open cup tests are needed in some specifications and regulations, and are intended to mimic conditions in open spaces; however, closed cup tests are closer to most situations in restricted spaces. The test results of closed cup flash point testers are less affected by laboratory conditions and are more precise and safer. There are 4 major closed cup flash point tests which are specified nationally and internationally for testing fuels and other materials, which are Pensky-Martens, Small Scale (Setaflash), Abel and Tag.
