The sand equivalent weight tester is designed and produced as per T0334 'Fine Aggregate Sand Equivalent Test of the industry standard JTJ 058 Specification and Test Methods of Aggregate for Highway Engineering . It vibrates samples through an automatic vibrator, and can determine clay or impurities in the fine aggregates, thus evaluating the purity of aggregates. This instrument is suitable for determining bituminous mixture and cement concrete-use natural sand, artificial sand, and saltpeter, whose maximum aggregate size should be less than 4.75 mm (round-hole sieve of 5 mm).
