Bitumen Flash Point Tester

Our bitumen flash point tester is made as per T0633 Liquid Petroleum Asphalt Flash Point Test (Tag Open Cup Methods) of the industry standard JTJ052 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering . This instrument is widely used to determine flash point of liquid petroleum bituminous materials whose flash points are lower than 93℃.

Technical Specifications of Bitumen Flash Point Tester

1. Power supply	AC 220V 10%, 50Hz
2. Sample cup
metal crucible (replace glass tag open cup), depth 47mm, the diameter of upper opening Ф64mm, the diameter of lower openingФ38mm, there is a scribed line which is 3.2mm from the rim of upper opening.
3. Ignitor
It consists of gas inlet pipe, gas flow adjustment valve and flame comparison ball. The diameter of spout is Ф0.7mm~0.8mm. The flame can be adjusted to 4mm diameter ball shape flame.
4. Electric furnace	It is composed of heating wires and furnace plate. It can control temperature rise rate through the heating controller.
5. Thermometer	0℃~+100℃; the scale division is 1 ℃; it is in accordance with T0633.
6. Controlling device	Consists of voltage regulation circuit and semiautomatic ignition device
7. Gauge	Thickness 3.2mm, there are two 3.2 0.25mm prominences, there are Ф4.0mm hole and Ф0.8 hole which are 3.2mm from the bottom.
8. Ambient temperature	35℃
9. Relative humidity	85%
